It did not start with a factory.
It started with a pair of hands.
In 1930, Josef Schulte opened a joinery workshop in Meiste, in the heart of Sauerland. More than a company was born there: a way of understanding craft.

Wood reaches the floor
The company manufactures parquet flooring for the first time. Workshop knowledge begins to transform the way spaces are lived in.
1972
A generation changes the scale
Johannes Schulte takes over from his father. Innovation becomes part of the company culture.

Silence is designed too
MEISTER presents its first quiet laminate flooring and brings acoustic comfort into product development.
